Do you have a photograph that you just can’t figure out how to post-process to bring out the image that inspired you to push the shutter? We’ll have a chance at the April 30 meeting to see how to use Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw to bring out the best in your photographs!
Gary Perlow, one of the club’s most experienced photographers, will take several photographs and walk through the process he’d follow in post-processing. We need your photographs, and your thoughts on what the photos need.
By April 24, please submit your photos, in camera RAW format, to a special NVPS Dropbox folder.
See the upload instructions for the Dropbox folder in the NVPS eBlast sent April 19 at 4:58 PM with the subject “NVPS: Members’ Galleries and Forum, Willing Warriors, Special E&T.”
Then please send a short message to Jim McDermott (see email address below), describing what caught your eye and inspired the photograph, and what you’d like to handle in post. (We’ll be using RAW images since a lot of processing is “baked into” JPG files, limiting what changes are possible.)
Any type of photography will be welcome – we’d really like to see some portraits, though!
If you have questions or if you encounter problems uploading images, please contact Jim McDermott at the NVPS Education & Training email address. The NVPS E&T email address is available on the password-protected Board Contacts page under “Education & Training.”
