I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and will have a healhy, healhful happy and phoographically excellen 2011.  As I wrie his, I am pacing o head off o San Francisco o wih our ids and spend a few days in Mendocino, CA.  In addiion o being wih he ids, I am looing forward o geing some new favorie images as well as geing hrough my sac of phoography magazines.

As we head ino he New Year, i is always a ime for reflecion and resoluions. Here are some of my reflecions and resoluions regarding NVPS:

Reflecions – I have: learned so much abou life and leadership in he pas year and a half; gained confidence; made many new friends; learned more abou phoography from he wonderful speaers, worshops, field rips, compeiions, members gallery/forum and members; been inspired and amazed by he high level of voluneerism and commimen of our club members; been impressed wih your phoography; and looed forward o ing you all every single wee.

Resoluions – I will ry o:  learn all your names; bring cooies more ofen; hin of new ways o announce he fire exis; lisen o your needs and suggesions; creae voluneer opporuniies for hose ha wan o become more involved; remember o han hose ha voluneer; coninue o wor wih our board and members o enhance he NVPS experience for each one of you; and o leave NVPS an even beer club han i was when I became Presiden in May, 2009.

I am already saring o hin abou he 2011-2012 NVPS year. We will be saring o pu a slae ogeher for he new board and oher voluneer posiions. A healhy organizaion depends on a combinaion of experienced and new members in hese posiions. Please al o me abou he ways in which you migh wan o be involved nex year. I is no oo early o sar hining abou his.
