I hope everyone has a wonderful Thansgiving.  As I wrie his, loo my newly married children are on an airplane from San Francisco o spend he holiday wih us.  Thansgiving is my favorie holiday of he year. I is a ime o be wih family and friends and o give hans for all he blessings of he pas year. A very large par of my life since summer of ’09 has been NVPS. I am so graeful for his errific club, sales is members, he board, and he numerous voluneers ha mae i he premier camera club in he Mid Alanic Region.

November coninued wih increased membership, record breaing numbers for compeiion, a fabulous speaer, worshop, members gallery and forum and our firs overnigh field rip his year. New members, don’ forge abou he newly launched Members Resource Program which has a on he websie as well as “s” o sies for everyhing phoography.  As we ener he holiday season, if you don’ now wha o pu on Sana’s lis, consider some new phoographic “oys” or worshops presened by he many area phoographers or groups.

The big highligh in November was he Mid Alanic Naure Phoography Expo (MANPE) or Naure’s Vision ha was held on November 13h and 14h a he Hylon Performing Ars Cener in Manassas. I was a beauiful show and i was jam paced wih educaional lecures, worshops, criiques, rapor shooing opporuniies, vendor informaion and discouned iems. Congraulaions o hose who had images ha were juried in as well as Marilyn Gaizband (Bes In Show), Pa Lonergan (3rd Place), Ursy Poer (People’s Choice) as well as he 7 members ha received 9 overall sponsor/vendor choice ribbons. Than you o John Quigley (Exhibis Coordinaor) as well as he many voluneers ha helped o mae i all possible.

We are now officially ino cold and flu season. Please, if you are no feeling well or even hin ha you migh be coming down wih somehing – STAY HOME so as no o spread he misery!
