November 7th - 14th, 2009 - FotoWeek DC - Northern Virginia Photographic Society

FotoWeek DC is returning this year as a major international photography festival. From November 7th to the 14th, we will be hosting exciting exhibitions, lectures, portfolio reviews, receptions and other events, bringing together Washington's many museums, galleries, non-profits, and arts organizations in celebration of the power of photography.

Join us, at the opening night launch party on November 6th, 6:30 pm till late, for a sneak peek at exhibitions in four locations along M Street NW in Georgetown and the chance to see what's on for the week ahead.

HIGHLIGHTS

Exhibitions: We have an unprecedented line-up of sought after exhibitions from around the world curated by esteemed photographers, including Pulitzer prize winning Lucian Perkins.
Lectures: It is a rare occurrence to have so many renowned photographers sharing their work and expertise in the span of just a week, so be sure to register to reserve space at your preferred lectures.
International Awards Competition: Exhibition at FotoWeek Central of winners from over 3500 images from photographers in 39 states and 28 countries.
FotoWeek Central: With 4 locations in Georgetown, one on 14th Street and one in Penn Quarter, it serves as our hub, and is the perfect spot to begin your aesthetic and intellectual adventure.
Portfolio Reviews: By prominent reviewers from around the country. Spaces are filling up fast so reserve your session now!
