July 27, 2011 - Learning to see in Black and White
WHAT: A presentation on on Black & White/monochrome photography. 
WHO: NIH Camera Club member, Greg Holden.
WHEN: Wednesday 27-July at 7:30 pm. 
WHERE: This presentation will occur in the Art Room at the Hyatt Classic Residence/Vi Living, 8100 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815 (about 8 blocks inside the beltway and 2 blocks down from Jones Bridge Road).
WHAT WILL I LEARN:  How to pre-visualize images for later black & white conversion. What types of images work better in B&W. When B&W is a better choice for an image. The different methods for converting images to B&W. 
WHY: Club competitions often have many fewer Black & White/monochrome images in either print or digital categories.
