As this field trip is being scheduled for mid-winter, we will focus almost entirely on the display areas of Longwood's Conservatory. The conservatory is one of the world's great greenhouse structures. It shelters 20 indoor gardens and 5,500 types of plants. The Conservatory was built in 1919 and has been periodically expanded and renovated. At present, there are 195,668 square feet--or 4.5 acres--of covered display, production, and research greenhouses. more

Mark your calendars now for the next NVPS Fieldtrip which be held on Saturday, September 13th. The club will be visiting The Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania for a private photo shoot of the wolves in their sanctuary home. The sanctuary will collect a $35 fee per person upon arrival and their staff will be on-hand to provide information and answer your questions. more
