We want to prepare everyone for a change in the way that images will be entered into competition for next year. In a continuing effort to keep our members making new photographs for use in competition, an additional field will be added to the sign-in sheets for prints and slides, and the upload form for digital images entered into competition. This new field is a request for the date (or dates if it is a composite) of capture of the print or image being entered into that competition.

Please be prepared to provide this information for every print, slide and digital image. It will be required for entry in future competitions.  Now is a good time to start considering methods for determining and retaining the information required for competition entry.

If you are shooting digitally you can use Bridge to look at the metadata (if you use a recent version of Photoshop).
