On April 18th "Bright Side Pictures" will open in Photoworks Gallery, Glen Echo Park's resident digital and darkroom photography studio.  "Bright Side Pictures" offers up a world of imaginative eye-candy - with a fine art photography twist.  The exhibition runs from April 18 through May 17 in Photoworks Gallery in Glen Echo Park, Maryland.  The gallery is open Saturdays from 1 to 4 PM, Sundays and Wednesdays from 1 to 8 PM, or by appointment (301-634-2274).  An opening reception will be held on Sunday, April 19, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.  

 

A trio of award-winning artists, Rob Grant, Scott Grant and Gary Jimerfield, created the images in the "Bright Side Pictures" exhibit.  Their collaborative effort -- which dates back to 2005 - is filled with playful optimism.  Some of their photos pay tribute to the beauty and glamour of epic Hollywood, while others echo abstract architectural forms.  All of their images are infused with rich color, depth and detail.  To find out more about the unique vision of "Bright Side Pictures," visit www.brightsidepictures.com.
