Nov 7th to 9th, 2008 - NVPS Fieldtrip: Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge (Va)

Friday evening, November 7th through Sunday noon, November 9th
Group dinner on Friday and Saturday night

The NVPS autumn weekend field trip will be to the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. The trip coincides with peak waterfowl migration and should also offer photo opportunities for local wildlife, including the Sika Elk and the Chincoteague ponies. There are beaches, dunes, forests, salt marshes and freshwater areas that offer numerous photographic possibilities. Also, there is a lighthouse and other seaside items of interest.
