Transportation:  To get to NYC, I recommend either of two transportation methods.  You can take the train from Union Station for approximately $142, or the bus for $50 round trip.  The Vamoose bus service (http://www.vamoosebus.com/) leaves from 1801 N Lynn St Arlington, VA on Sat, April 12, at 7:45 AM, (near the Rosslyn Metro), for $25 each way and only one stop in Bethesda.  Returning from NYC the bus departs from 255 W 31 St. bet. 7 & 8 Ave New York, NY on Sunday at 9:30 and 11:30 AM, or 2:00, 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:00 PM.  (Sat departures from NYC are at 2:00 4:30 and 7:00PM).  Please reserve a seat from their web site, although tickets are purchased via cash or checks on the bus.

Hotels:  AIPAD has made arrangements for a reduced rate of $289 (including tax will be $331) at the Grand Hyatt, NYC.  This is great rate for NYC, believe it or not!  It is located at 109 East 42nd Street at Grand Central Terminal, New York, NY 10017, (212) 883-1234.  Their web site is:  http://www.grandnewyork.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp.  Please contact Teri Klinkosz if you would like to book a room, as reservations are being handled through the AIPAD manager.  Other more reasonably priced hotels in the area are the Comfort Inn Central Park West, at 31 West 71st Street, call 1.800.780.7234 or go to http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/.  There are many other options available so you may want to do some web searching yourself.

You can sign up at club meetings, email me at tek7@cox.net or call me eves at 703.938.6391, or cell 571.217.1010.  Be sure to supply your email address and phone number on the sign-up sheet so I will be able to notify you to coordinate meeting times, location details and perhaps joint event opportunities!
