The results for the 2011 Glennie Nature Competition are in. - Northern Virginia Photographic Society

Ninety seven clubs, representing 4 continents and 6 countries submitted a total of 959 images for competition.

A gallery of winning images will be posted on the web within the next two weeks. You are invited to view the winning images by visiting the Merrimack Valley Camera Club website www.mvcameraclub.org. All club scores as well as a list of award winning images will be posted on-line soon at http://mvcameraclub.org/comp-interclub/comp-interclub-01-glennie.htm

Congratulations to Wayne Wolfersberger. His image of Merganser and Chicks received a merit award.

Overall NVPS tied for thirtieth among the 97 participating clubs. The winning club, Camera Naturalist Photo Club, Roselle Park, New Jersey received 246 of 300 points. NVPS received 208 points.

I appreciate the time and effort everyone put into participating in the competition.
