September 1st to 30th - NVPS Exhibit at the U S Geological Survey Building, Reston, VA.

A Photography exhibit by NVPS members is now on display through the month of September in the Art Hallway of the U S Geological Survey Building in Reston, Virginia. The Hallway is open to visitors from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Admitance is gained through the Visitor's entrance.

The USGS Building is located at 12201 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA. From northbound Fairfax County Parkway turn right onto Sunrise Valley Drive. From southbound Parkway turn left onto Sunrise Valley. (There is easy access from the Dulles Toll road to southbound Fairfax County Parkway). At the second stoplight on Sunrise Valley turn right and follow drive for approximately 1/3 of a mile to visitors' parking on the left. You will need to sign in and you MUST HAVE A PICTURE ID. You will also be asked to go through a metal detector. The guard will give you directions to the Art Hallway. Remember to sign out when you leave. If you have further questions on directions to the building complete driving directions can be gotten from the USGS website at http://www.usgs.gov/.
