George W. Glennie Competition - Reply by January 7th, 2011 - Northern Virginia Photographic Society

This is a reminder that we are seeking NVPS interest in the following competition

IF THERE IS SUFFICIENT INTEREST AMONG CLUB MEMBERS I WILL PROCEED WITH SETTING UP THE CLUB COMPETITION TO SELECT THE CLUB'S IMAGES AND WILL GET FURTHER INFORMATION OUT TO YOU. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE REPLY BY JANUARY 7, 2011.

The Merrimack Valley Camera Club has announced it will accept entries for its 31st annual George W. Glennie photographic competition from February 1 until March 17, 2011. The competition is open to camera clubs worldwide.

This is a premier, international all-nature club competition of digital images known for its diversity of subjects which range from animals to botany to landscapes. In the animal categories, birds and mammals are usually well represented, but each year about a third of the entries are invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians or marine & freshwater life

This is a club competition and each club is invited to submit up to 10 digital images. Images prepared for the NatureVisions Expo would be eligible for consideration in the Glennie competition as well as any other nature images members may have.
