2009 - 2010 - Competition Themes
Opposites: the image must present an opposite combination such as large/small, old/young, straight/crooked, round/square, animal/vegetable, dark/light, sharp/blunt, etc. etc. (Members Choice Theme)
Competition Date: Nov 17th, 2009
Image capture must have occurred after Nov 16th, 2007 to be eligible for competition.
Flash: images where flash in or off camera is the principal light source.
Competition Date: Jan 19th, 2010
Image capture must have occurred after Jan 18th, 2008 to be eligible for competition.
Monuments, Memorials, Statues: images where the dominant element(s) would consist of monuments, memorials or statues
Competition Date: May 18, 2010
Image capture must have occurred after May 17h, 2008 to be eligible for competition.
Image capture must have occurred after May 17h, 2008 to be eligible for competition.
Please note that NVPS requires the date that you shot the image to be entered on the sign in sheet and in the competition upload program starting in Sept 2009. For more details please see this article (link) so you can start capturing information about when your images were shot.
