Eliot is well known for his landscape photographs. He is also highly praised for his educational work, guiding many new and established photographers through digital capture and workflow. He was formerly the Program head for Photography at the Loudoun Campus of NVCC where he was honored with the College’s highest award for teaching excellence. Currently he offers classes through his own organization, Washington Photo Focus (www.washingtonphotofocus.com). He also offers individual instruction and small group seminars focused on digital capture, editing, and critique.
