This year, October is one of those months with 5 Tuesdays, so for the October 29 meeting, we will have a special presentation by former club president, Mike Whalen on navigating the club’s website. Last year Mike overhauled the NVPS website and gallery, giving them both a new look and feel. He will explain the design philosophy and guide us thru the menus, making it easier to find what you’re looking for. There really is allot there, but with a few tips, the website can be a powerful tool. A quick review of the gallery will also be provided. Please bring any questions you may have regarding the website or gallery.
Additionally, Ginger will give a brief update on the Portfolio Project, show several gallery examples from past portfolios, and discuss the artist statement.
We will also be having our customary “Swap-Meet” on this 5th Tuesday, so bring any equipment, books, magazines, and etc. that you don’t need/want any longer and see if someone else could use it! These items can be sold, traded, or given away, it’s up to you! If you’re bringing gear, come early (7:00PM) and display it on the back tables.
