John Hoover

John is the Instructional lab Coordinator for Photography at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD and is an assignment photographer specializing in portraits, travel, and architectural photography. Before that he served as the director of Photography at the Metropolitan Center for the visual arts, a nonprofit community arts Center located in Rockville Maryland.

He is the recipient of the 2007 excellence in the Arts and Humanities Award, given by the Montgomery County Arts and Humanities Council, for the contribution he made in improving the Photography Center at VisArts to the point of national recognition among professional photographers and industrial specialists.
