We’ve started gathering ideas for field trips for next year, hoping to revisit some of the tried and true locations that always deserve another visit, as well as a few new locations. However, we need your help and involvement. What are the locations that you love to visit with your camera?

Additionally, we are going to try to have a quick and easy way for members to organize “meet-ups” during the coming year. With over 200 members, there’s a phenomenal diversity of interests, knowledge, and skills that extend way beyond the organized field trips. We’d like to try to use the NVPS Facebook page as a way for members to broadcast that they’d welcome other members to join or meet them on photographic outings. These may be take advantage of spur-of-the-moment opportunities or to explore some specific photographic interests or locations that would not be well suited for an organized NVPS field trip.
