Dee Ellison was selected as the Grand Prize Winner of the Washington Gardner Magazine’s 2017 Photo Contest with her photo A Lavender Afternoon! She took the image at the Seven Oaks Lavender Farm in Catlett, Virginia. The photo will be on the cover of next month’s magazine (online). It will also hang at Meadowlark over the summer. Willa Friedman won first and second place in the macro/close-up category. Other winners include Mike Whalen and Judy McGuire. Judy got an Honorable Mention in the Garden Views category with her photo taken at the Mt. Cuba Center in Hockessin DE.
